The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) for the City of Horseshoe Bay and the communities of Blue Lake, Deerhaven, Sandy Harbor, Oak Ridge, and certain adjoining undeveloped properties is provided through an ESD Contract with a private company, Marble Falls Area EMS, Inc. This service for emergency medical care was awarded by the Llano County Emergency Services District (ESD) Number 1 and Burnet County ESD Number 1.
The two ESDs were created in February of 2002. The purpose of these ESDs is to provide emergency medical care to the above communities.
